Donation:

As we come together for this very special evening, it presents a unique opportunity for us to celebrate with a cause. Our illustrious alumnus and Honorary Fellow of the LSE, Professor Saw Swee Hock has taken the lead in “Paying It Forward” by generously donating the cost of the entire Gala Dinner. In underwriting the cost of the Gala Dinner; your seat ticket is your donation to The Singapore LSE Trust; which is an Institution of Public Character, and all donations to The Trust enjoys a 2.5 times tax deduction i.e. for every $1,000 donated, $2,500 will be deducted from the taxpayers’ chargeable income.

The School also recognises its donors in Leadership Giving via the Chairman's Circle and Director's Circle of donors who make a gift of more than £5,000 and £1,000 respectively. The Penguin Club celebrates graduates from the past five years who donate £30 or more.

We reap today what others have kindly and sacrificially sown before. May we encourage you to also give a donation above your seat ticket for the Gala Dinner and partner with us in “Paying It Forward” for the next generation of Singapore students.
