LSEAAS “Brexit” Debate

This event is over-subscribed. Thank you for your support!

BREXIT: Should Britain Stay or Should They Go?

On 23rd June, Britain will hold a referendum on the question of whether to leave or remain in the European Union. What should they do? What are the reasons to remain in the EU, what are the reasons to leave? What will the implications be?

The LSEAAS invites you to an interactive debate about British membership of the European Union!

We have invited two lead speakers who will initially present both sides of the debate; they are Mr. Paul Robbins, Co-chairman, Conservatives Abroad & Mr. Chris Humphrey, Executive Director, EU-ASEAN Business Council. Following their presentations, the floor will be open for an interactive debate. Whether listener or reader, come along and join in a vibrant exchange of views on one of the most significant questions in contemporary European politics.

The informal debate will be followed by networking drinks in the elegant and heritage setting of the Post Bar at the Fullerton Hotel.

Date: Monday, 6 June, 2016.
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 pm
Venue: Post Bar (Private Music Room – within the Post Bar), The Fullerton Hotel, 1 Fullerton Square, S(049178)
