Year-End Gourmet Wine Dinner, 19 December 2007

The LSEAAS held the Year-End Gourmet Wine Dinner at BrownSugar.

Yuan Oeij, alumnus, former Chartered Accountant and a Fund Manager and founder of Brown Sugar opened the doors of his restaurant, Brown Sugar to us and warmly welcomed us to dine in the exclusive The Private Dining Room. Fine wines from Le Benaton accompanied the fare of the evening.

Yuan left the finance industry after twelve years to pursue his passion for food. Prior to opening Brown Sugar, he was already running a successful fine dining private chef business "Chef For Hire".

Yuan apprenticed in the kitchens of some of the finest restaurants in Singapore, attended professional restaurant and cooking courses, and travelled around the world in search of amazing food experiences.

Yuan's culinary skills and services have been recognized in the media, with appearances in newspapers and publications.
