LSEAAS goes Private Dining

What is private dining?
Try something different from the usual restaurant set-up: private dining offers delectable home-cooked food in an intimate setting. LSE alumnus Chef Chris will open his beautifully curated flat in Serangoon for us!

It's not Wright's Bar, darling

Missing London’s international flavours and diversity? Chef Chris will take us on a palate-teasing, round-the-world culinary adventure with his specially planned menu:

1) Welcome Drink: Non-alcoholic Yuzu
2) Appetisers: Assortment of Relishes and Crackers
3) Harira – Flavoursome tender lamb slow-cooked with red lentils, chickpeas and saffron
4) Chicken Paratel – Rose’s Mother’s recipe – layers of flavor in a dry chicken curry
5) Maharajah Prawns – Succulent prawns cooked in coriander, spices, a magic rempah. This is the recipe that Neil Wilson has been screaming for
6) Albondigas or Spanish Meatballs – Minced meat and Spanish spices with meatballs cooked in a thick tomato sauce wowed with brandy and red-wine. Eat whole (we won’t look!) or savour each bite
7) Lamb Tagine – cooked with delicious fruit, saffron and a Moroccan spice that’s a mixture of 20 spices! This recipe was featured on local television. Authentically cooked in a beautiful tagine so it’s sealed with flavor
8) Aunty Rani’s Creamy White Brinjal Curry – Another beautiful family recipe
9) Pomegranate and Feta Cheese salad – this is a Relish favourite that contrasts with the delicious meat dishes
10) Served with Basmati Nasi Lemak
11) Dessert: Gula Melaka pudding

Bring your own alcohol.

Tickets are SGD 88 for LSEAAS lifetime members, SGD 93 for LSEAAS members and SGD 98 for guests.
