Distinguished Speakers Series - Parag Khanna, 10 January 2013

"Five scenarios that could shake the world in 2013 – how will Singapore stay relevant?"

55 alumni and friends of the LSE packed Bistro du Vin to a full-house as Parag Khanna (Ph.D, LSE) delivered an engaging perspective to several geopolitical scenarios in the new year. A spirited Q & A ensued and carried on well into the evening.

Over fine wines and a specially selected menu; conversations flowed freely as folks caught-up with old friends and networked with new ones. It was a pleasure to have had Parag's wife, Ayesha, herself currently pursuing a Ph.D at the LSE attend the event as well.

Fongtien, Vice-President of the LSEAAS Committee and her team delivered an outstanding event. Special thanks to alumnus, and Trustee of the Singapore LSE Trust, Desmond Lim for sponsoring the wines and accommodating us at his delectable establishment; and to Lutfey Siddiqi for connecting Parag to the LSEAAS, which in turn birthed the inaugural Distinguished Speakers Series.
